Dave Sartor and Jeff Smythe incorporated Nor-Line Plumbing Ltd in November 1986. With one truck and a whole lot of determination, they set out to build a business based on quality service and reliability. They acquired several businesses over the years in Richmond Hill, Toronto, and Brampton, allowing them to expand their services and build a valuable client portfolio throughout the Greater Toronto Area. They diversified the business to include mechanical services in 1994 by hiring an HVAC manager and a team of qualified refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, licensed gas fitters, and a sheet metal worker.

The Down Syndrome Association of York Region
The Down Syndrome Association of York Region firmly believes in the inherent equality of persons with Down syndrome. In 10 years, Nor-Line donated over $50,000 in golf tournament proceeds to the DSAYR. Dave Sartor, the President of Nor-Line sat as the elected volunteer President of the DSAYR for 9 years and Tracey Armstrong-Smythe, the Managing Director of Nor-Line, sat as the elected volunteer Treasurer of the DSAYR for 10 years. They remain supportive and involved today.
Since 2006 Nor-Line has sponsored a child through World Vision®. Hundreds of thousands of children are at risk of starvation due to years of civil unrest in many countries around the world. For only $35 per month, we are able to sponsor a child and contribute to their community by providing things like nutritious food, healthcare, education and other basics every child needs.
