Nor-Line is a company that cares. We have always made giving back to our community a priority. We have supported numerous hockey teams, baseball teams and aspiring athletes over the years; always encouraging our employees to bring us their family’s team sponsorships.
We have been supporters to a number of charities over the years as well, some which include The Hospital for Sick Children, Harborfront Centre for the Performing Arts, MADD Canada, Special Olympics, Down Syndrome Association of York Region, and World Vision®.
The Down Syndrome Association of York Region
The Down Syndrome Association of York Region is a group of parents, educators and community support professionals who firmly believe in the inherent equality of persons with Down syndrome. They are committed to promoting a positive image of people with Down syndrome as being valued community members. If you would like to get involved, please call 416-410-DOWN or visit their website at www.dsayr.on.ca. In 10 years, Nor-Line donated over $50,000 in golf tournament proceeds to the DSAYR and Dave Sartor, the President of Nor-Line also sits as the elected volunteer President of the DSAYR.
Since 2006 Nor-Line has sponsored a child from Kenya through World Vision®. Hundreds of thousands of children are desperately hungry and at risk of starvation due to years of civil unrest in many countries around the world. World Vision® is a Christian humanitarian organization that reaches out to these children.
For only $35 per month, we are able to provide things like nutritious food, health care, education and other basics every child needs to grow up healthy, happy and productive. Their goal is to help nearly 108,000 impoverished boys and girls who are living in some of the world’s most difficult places. We are only too happy to help them achieve this magnanimous goal.
